Veterans and their dependents may be eligible for expenses incurred due to the recent flooding in Nebraska. This includes food, clothing, emergency housing such as hotel accommodations, and replacement of eligible flood-damaged items necessary for life safety.  

Applications must be completed through your County Veterans Service Officer (CVSO). 

 

Bingo Friday nights at 7 PM in the Bingo Hall - public is welcome. Doors open at 5 PM.

Texas Hold'Em Poker, every Friday at 7 PM

Pizza and Beer Sundays: Buy 1 pizza and two 24oz draws for $10 from 7pm-10pm.

Saturday afternoons "Wine & Cheese Club"  2pm to 4pm, featuring several different house wines at $2.00 per glass. Other non-featured wines $3.00 per glass.

July 27 - Class A American Legion Baseball tournament at Memorial Field.

August 10 - American Legion Day at Lincoln SAlt Dogs baseball.

September 2 - Veterans Appreciation Day at the Nebraska State Fair. Veterans (with proof) entrance is free.

First and third Wednesdays of the month, the Kearney Vietnam Veterans Support Group meets at Kearney CCC Veterans Resource Center at 7 PM at 30th Ave and 11th St. www.va.gov/rcs.
